They can't get a lower melee stat than 20%. So taming a good level will help. With a base damage of 211, at 20% melee it's hitting for 42 damage. Thats the same as a trike at 131%. Or a stego at 100%. Or a Rex at 67%. If you get your kill counter to 100 tho, it will hit for 116. That's a trike at 360%.
