However I have seen some people saying a lot of what the MCAT tests on for psych/soc is better learned through just memorizing theorists, psychologists, theories, etc. and that there are better ways to learn it than reading the Kaplan book (like Flashcards and a 300 page document of some sort?).

The 300 page doc is based off the Khan Academy videos for psychology and sociology. Under the MCAT section on Khan Academy that includes units 6-10 (The bulk of it is units 6,7,8. Last 2 are short.) The doc is literally just an edited transcript.
