No reason to get a BM-59 vs. M1A unless you are into collecting one. There are some great choices for M1A's / M14's and though more involved than an AR, you can build your own tackdriver. The JRA's must have been a big hit the BM59s where $1050 not long ago and IIRC the JRA M1a is a cast receiver for those that care.
