The reason I ask is that ever since I installed a new gas tank, my tractor performance has been erratic at best. One theory is that I could be having gas lock-up in the tank.

I have a Woods BH750 that I use on my Ford 3000. It is TOO big for my 8N, in my opinion. My 3000 is a thousand pounds heavier than my 8N. The hoe can push the 3000 all over if I try, that would be even worse on the 8N. That said, a bock hoe is SOOooo NICE to have for many reasons.
