Quite a few ridges out there, most are quiet at the moment, but with the snow they are forecasting that will change also. Not great, but there are still Walleyes and Perch deep. A lot of the Perch are on the smaller side, but we managed quite a few 9-10 inchers with a few 11-12’s mixed in. The conditions have not gotten better at all. In some cases it’s gotten worse. Again, there are some slush pockets on Devils Lake that will swallow you up.Buck shots were the key, and we were in two spots on the lake, one deep/one shallow. The deep was 36 feet of water, the shallow was bewteen 5-15 feet of water. With the weather change from bitter cold back to mild, I think the Perch and definitely the Walleyes are about to go off, get ready!!
