Most of the higher tier craftable weapons are fairly close in damage. Star metal, obsidian, black ice, etc. all slap pretty hard. I like ancient lemurian stuff. A t4 blade smith thrall and a master weapon kit is all you really need. Pretty sure they nerfed newly crafted BP weapons like blood crystal spear to the ground.
