The computer setup for EECS classes is always the hardest part in my opinion. 280 offers a lot of resources to help if you find yourself struggling in the class, too. I would definitely recommend staying in it. Edit: if you are on PC, I used Vscode and the setup was way easier than Visual Studio.It's on java next fall and I'm curious about the work load.
