The key is to take a couple semester-long classes, one eight-week class during the first half of the semester, and another eight-week class during the second half of the semester. Specifically required ECE courses (e.g., ECE 220) do not count as electives. Courses for non-majors (e.g., ECE 205) do not count except by permission.
